Beth hosts this weeks Lens-Artist Challenge which is – Let’s have a little fun and feature subjects that begin with the letter B. What subjects can you find that start with the letter B? You can choose several different subjects and share one image of each one.

I’ve had a scan through my pics and come up with these images for this weeks challenge:

B is for Barn Owl. This one was out hunting in the day and had just caught a vole.
B is for Berber – This Berber woman posed for me in Marrakesh. She was trying to sell my wife a bangle she didn’t know she wanted. We did a deal with her and bought the bangle in exchange for a picture. It was all good natured. She’d been posing with my wife, without being asked, but I wanted a pic of her on her own.
B is for Bertha – That’s the name of this chocolate cake from the Get Baked bakery in the UK. They sell out by midday every day.
B is for Banksy – An old Banksy in Bristol, known as the Sniper. It has since been painted over with another Banksy of the late Queen with a David Bowie lightening flash across her face.
B is for Bowling Shoes
B is for Beetle
B is for Butter or Brain fungi
B is for Border – This is Gibraltar. We’d parked on the Spanish side of the territory and had to walk across the airport runway, into Gibraltar, having cleared customs.

    • Thank you Sofia. Bertha was delicious. She’s actually the younger sister of a larger cake called Bruce! That Berber lady is one of my favourite shots. It’s very hard to get any portraits in Marrakesh 🙂
